Yes, "Ivey" is a play on words, so to speak. I.V. Inner Voice. So Ivey Lane is a state of (my) mind. It's also a figurative place. Average Americana. The behind the blinds peak into what could be any home, anywhere, with it's inhabitants secrets, desires, and dreams. If you ever saw me, you might think "That's a pretty average woman."
